PRODUCE IN LONDON. I ' BUTTER AND CHEESE. DAIRY BOARD’S REPORT. The New Zealand Dairy Produ»>« Board has received the following market report from its London office, dated April 11, prices for the previous week being in parentheses:— Butter. —New Zealand, salted, 120 s to 124 s (124 s to 128 s), (last year, 164 s to 1665) ; unsalted, 132 s to 1365, up to 140 s (134 s to\l42s), (last year, 166 sto 170 s); first whey, 114 s (114 s); second whey, 112 s (112 s). Deliveries of New Zealand this week. 1350 tons; in store, 6800 tons. The Alarketing Board estimated the stocks of all butters at April 5 at 661,873 boxes. Australia: Salted, 116 s to 120 s (122 sto 1265); unsalted, 118 s to 122 s (124 s to 128 s). Argentine; Unsalted, 114 s to 116 s, up to 118 s (*.lßs to 1225). Irish: Salted, 120 s; uusalted, 1265. Danish: F.0.b., 131 s (1325); spot, 136 sto 138 s (140 sto 1425). Dutch: Unsalted, 136 s to 138 s. Polish: 112 sto 113 s (118 sto 1225). Improved demand at lower prices. New Zealand retail price unchanged at Is 4d. Danish retail price reduced t,o Is sd.
Cheese.—New Zealand: White, 70s to 725, up to 73s (76s to 775), (last year, 89s to 90s) ; coloured, 72s to 745, up to 76s (78s to 795), (last year, 90s to 91s). Deliveries of New Zealand this week, 24,705 crates; in store, 101,243 crates. Better demand at lowfer prices. Canadian: White, 96s to 100 s (96s to 100 s); coloured, 96s to 98s (96s to 98s). Alarket steady. Deliveries of Canadian, 5183 boxes; in store, 109,937 boxes. New Zealand retail price reduced to lOd.
