BEST FOR A DECADE

ENGLAND’S TENNIS TEAM. TO COMPETE IN DAVIS CUP. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel.—Copyright. (Received April 14, 12 Noon.) LONDON, April 13. 1 Mr Wallis Myers, in the Daily Telegraph, says that England’s Davis Cup team —Austin, Gregory, Lee, and Collins —is the best since 1920. Austin and Lee have each beaten Prcnn, the German champion, and Gregory and Collins have beaten the German doubles pair at Berlin and the American doubles champions at Wimbledon. If, as is likely, they are to meet the Australians in the third round, the latter will not forget Gregory’s championship victory at Adelaide.
