SHIPS AT PAPEETE. REAR-ADMIRAL BYRD’S PLANS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Monday. Radio advice has been received in Dunedin that Rear-Admiral Byrd’s ship, the City of New York, arrived at Papeete on Friday night, and the Eleanor Bolling is due there to-day from Tahiti.

The ships will move in company to Panama, where Rear-Admiral Byrd will re-join the expedition. The Rear-Admiral is due at Dunedin on Friday afternoon, and will proceed to Wellington the following Thursday to join the Rangitiki for Panama.
