PROVINCIAL TOURNAMENT. DOUBLES EVENTS COMPLETED. FURTHER SINGLES RESULTS. The annual tournament conducted by the South Auckland Croquet Association was continued to-day on Hamilton and Frankton lawns. Both the handicap and championship competitions have now been completed, and it is expected that the singles events will be concluded late this afternoon. Further results of the play are as follows :—• Championship Singles. Mrs Tucker, 26, v. Mrs Meikle, 17; Mrs Tucker, 26, v. Mrs Hawlcen, 25; Mrs Hawlcen, 26, v. Mrs Ivibblewhite, 12. The final games of this section are at present in progress, the players being Airs Belgrave and Mrs Tucker. The first two games in (he final resulted :—Mrs Belgrave, 26, v. Mrs Tucker, 19; Mrs Tucker, 26, v. Mrs Belgrave, 7. Handicap Singles. Mrs Coombes, 26, v. Mrs Kibblewhite, 12; Mrs Meikle, 26, v. Mrs llawken, 21. Mrs Coombes and Mrs Meikle are now engaged in the linal games. The Doubles Events. The doubles competitions were won as follows :—Handicap, Mesdames Hawken and Brockclsby; championship, Mesdames Bartlett and Evans.
