INFORMAL RECITAL.

PLEASANT AFTERNOON SPENT. On Friday afternoon, March 28, Mrs C. W. Linder entertained the parents and friends of her pupils at an informal recital in the Y.M.C.A. Hall. Individual elocutionary items were given by the pupils, who also presented two humorous little playettes. Mrs Linder was assisted by Mrs Bouillon, who contributed vocal items. A delicious afternoon tea was handed round by the pupils. Among those present were:—Mesdames Bouillon, .Baillie, Cox, Burton, Jolly, Patterson (2), Roberts, Loveridge, Mason, Cooper, Parsons, Jones, Bell, Bain, Hammond, Waite, Parsons, Warn, Bunciman, Cooke, Waite, McGrail, Davis, Yates, Marshall, Hendry, Bettley, Brothers, Stilburn, Hooper, Dawson, and Misses Jones (2).
