THE CHINESE REBELLION.

PLANS FOR OVERCOMING IT. ARRANGEMENTS WITH WAR LORD. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel.—Copyright (Received March 29, 11.15 a.m.) SHANGHAI, March 28. The Nanking Government’s plans for overcoming the rebellion of Feng Yu Hsiang and Yen Hsi Shan have eventually been made known as a result of an agreement reached with Marshal Chang Hsueh Liang, the Mukden War Lord, by which it is reported that Nanking agrees to furnish Chang with 1,500,000 dollars monthly and unlimited supplies of arms and ammunition, provided the Fengtien forces undertake to attack Yen Hsi Shan In the rear. Until now Chang's attitude in the present conflict provided a stumbling block, both sides seeking Mukden’s support. Now the atmosphere has cleared, Chang agreeing to despatch three divisions against Peking, while Chang Kai Shek proceeds to Hsuchovy to make a frontal attack.
