GENERAL KOUTEPOFF.
PRISONER IN RUSSIA. A REPORT GERMANY. United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel.—Copyright. BERLIN, March 26. A well-informed Berlin newspaper states that General Koutepoff, the missing leader of Russian refugees in Paris, is imprisoned at Sousdal, an old monastery building in lhe. Vladimar Province of Russia. Among the initiated it has long been known, says the paper, that Koutepoff was put on board a Russian steamer, the Spartak, which left Havre on January 25, and arrived at Antwerp on January 27. Koutepoff disembarked at Leningrad and from there was sent to Moscow, tic was imprisoned at Lubianska.
A prisoner in Russia. In view of the great excitement abroad and also in Russia lhe Soviet did not dare refute lhe rumours which constantly gained ground. On February 16 lhe Central Committee decided lo permit journalisls to inspect lhe Lubianska prison, and next day Koulcpoff was carried out -on a stretcher, Iransferred lo a closed railway van and sent to Sousdal.
