GOLF.

MORRINSVILLE. THE ANNUAL MEETING. There was a large attendance of members at the annual meeting oi the Morrinsville Golf Club. The president, Mr F. W. Seifcrl, presided. The committee reported: —’I lie membership during Ihc year totalled 106, an increase of 6. Ladies numbered 05. Championships were won by R. L. Dodd (inch's senior), E. Jackson (men's junior), and Miss M. Grimwade (ladies). More (hail usual interest had been taken in the interclub matches during the season. During the season the new course bad been opened. Expenses had been exceptionally heavy, but many were of a non-recurring nature. The -balance sheet showed receipts totalling £292 2s Gd. The expenditure amounted to £287 IBs 2d, leaving a credit balance of £4 4s 4d. The assets were listed as £42 i 9s, compared with £384 9s 5d at the end of the last financial year The club’s equity in its property was set down at £3OO. The election of officers resulted: President, Mr F. W. Seifert (reelected) ; vice-president, Mr T. F. I-lodges;' captain, Mr T. J. Ryan; vicecaptain, Mr F. E. Forster; secretary, Mr A. J. Mueller; treasurer, Mr J. T. Rvan; auditor, Mr J. H. Wyatt; committee. Messrs P. Petry, E- Jackson, and If. Laver; ladies’ committee, Mesdames T. J. Ryan and F. W. Seifert.
