WANTON DESTRUCTION

SEATS TORN UP. VANDALS ON THE RIVER PATH. Strong comment was made at last night’s meeting of the Hamilton Beautifying Society, on the action of certain frequentors of the river path, in wantonly damaging six of the seats which were placed there. The vandals pulled the scats from their foundations, and wrenched boards from their places. Such behaviour must he discouraging to members of the Beautifying Society, who are doing such good work around the town, and the offenders, who arc evidently of .subnormal intelligence, for such acts are only born of weak minds, are deserving of severe punishment.
