N GAHINAPOURI.

Tennis DanceLast Wednesday -one of the fortnightly dances in aid of tennis funds was held in the Ngahlnapouri Hall. Quite a good attendance was present and an enjoyable evening was spent. Local ladies provided excellent music and the duties of M.C- were carried out by Mr W. Reid. Another dance is aid of tennis funds will be held in the hall on Saturday night. Stormy Weather. Most of last week stonmy weather conditions prevailed- The damp weather has postponed both Shearing and haymaking operations. Last Wednesday a storm in the nature of a cyclone passed over the neighbourhood and considerable damage was done, several roofs being lifted and numbers of trees uprooted.
