The Weather. For the last four or five days the

weather -has been rough and stonmy. The rain was very acceptable, but farmers are now hoping for an improvement in the weather to enable ■them to finish shearing and proceed with hay and ensilage-making. Several crops of hay are cut and have been lying in-the rain for days. Successful Exhibitors. Several exhibitors from Te Uku were successful in -securing prizes at the Raglan Horticultural Society’s Show. The Taldwa Women's Club also showed specimens of arts and craft work for exhibition only. This work was done by members of the club, who appreciated the society’s courtesy in allowing them to exhibit it-
