“It is quite true that we have 100 many teachers available early in the year to find positions for them all,” said Mr C. Kirk, secretary of the Canterbury Education Board, when speaking ■ to a representative of the Press, “but at present it is difficult to find qualified teachers for the positions available. There are not too many teachers, as many people think.”
