United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel.—Copyright. (Received Nov. 15, 11.10 a.m.) -SYDNEY, Nov. 15. The State Chess Championship was won by C. Purdy, with 104 points out of a possible 12. S. Crakenthorp was runner-up. Purdy > who is the son of Dr. Purdy, won the’New Zealand title in 1925 at the age of 18.
