DEATH OF A PRINCESS.
EX-KAISER’S SISTER. I END HASTENED BY GRIEF. NO RELATIVES AT HER BED SID 3. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel.—‘Copyright (Received Nov. 14, 1.30 p.m.) BERLIN, Nov. 13. Princess Victoria (Frau Zoubkoff), is dead. She died a bankrupt within a week of serving divorce papers upon her husband, the Russian adventurer, who previous to his marriage was a washer of dishes at a restaurant. He is held largely responsible for the Princess’ tragic end, which was due to pneumonia, but was accentuated by grief. There were no relatives present at her bedside, merely a few personal attendants. The Princess became more or les* unconscious yesterday morning, and did not rally. Her last words were spoken in the English language, which she always used whenever possible. The end, which came after hours of suffering, was peaceful. The Grand Duchess of Hessen, her second sister, who called for the ffrst time on Sunday, remained the whole of Monday, when a reconciliation after the separation caused by the unfortunate marriage took place. During the last day or two the exKaiser, who was outraged by the events, relented, and made frequent telephonic enquiries. The doctors stated that the ex-Kaiser would nave visited her but for political ob« stacles.
