NEW HATS FOR OLD.

Some of us pay. large sums for felt hats, but no matter what we pay for them they get dirty so quickly. Many of us have tried sending them to be cleaned, and have nearly dissolved into tears to see them come 'home as stiff as boards. But why not clean them at home? This can easily be done provided they are good fur felts and not of the cheaper everyday kind which are apt to thicken if wettedGet some cleaning soap and wash the hat over thoroughly with it, removing 'all dirt; when wet it can be remodelled into a new shape on the head, and if put on a stand will dry quickly and look quite like a new hat once again.
