CHIEF RULER’S STOCK.
PLACE OF PROMINENCE. The successes of Chief Ruler’s stock within the last week bring his winnings for the present season to nearly £6OOO, a very creditable record seeing that the flat racing season has been In progress only five weeks. The Totrarch horse Is now at the head of the sires’ list and looks to bo In for a highly profitable season as his two-year-olds are doing particularly well, and ho has several useful three-year-olds representing him. Last Saturday and Monday saw him obtain an exceptional advertisement. At Ellerslie his stock won the Great Northorn Guineas and both the two-year-old races. In fact in the Wolcomo Stakes they ran first and second. At Napier the Prince of Wales Stakes was wcln by Princoss Betty, another of the family. The Ellerslie stake winnings alone amounted to £2300.
