SUCCESS AT NGARUAWAHIA. As the closing function after a very successful season the Ngaruawahia Rugby Football Club held a social and dance in the Masonic Hall. The attendance, which was large, included numerous supporters from the surrounding districts. The non-dancers were well catered for by a euchre tournament conducted by Mr 11. McFarlane. The winners of the prizes were: Ladies, Mrs Simpson; men, Mr Edwards. In addition to the euchre bridge was available. A very fine dancing programme was provided by the M.C. (Mr Hunter). Special attractions were a Monte Carlo dance, a broom dance, and a Tattersails dance. Winners of prizes were: Monte Carlo, Miss Ryan and partner; Tattersalls, Miss Pharo. A feature of the evening was the excellent supper, for which a special word of thanks is due to the ladies of the committee.
