The Total of registered unemployed In the Dominion on Wednesday was 6188, as compared with 5641 on the previous day, an increase of 547. The figures for the principal cities are as follows: — Oct. 9. Oct. 8. Auckland .. 1,514 1,406 Wellington .. 887 865 Christchurch .. 1,015 1,029 Dunedin .. 614 622 The Hamilton figures are: Oct. 9, 210; Oct. 8, 52.
