TO-DAY’S STOCK SALES. LOWER PRICES RECEIVED. DALGETY AND CO.'S REPORT. (Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report on their weekly fat stock sale at Westfield: We offered ox beef in larger numbers than last week. Competition was inclined to be easier, and a drop in values was recorded. Heavy weight cattle were easier and showed the biggest drop. Cow- and heifer beef came forward in slightly lesser numbers than last week, and value-s for them also were a shade easier. Extra choice ox sold to 42s per 1001 b.; choice and prime, 39s to 41s; secondary and plain, 38s to 40s; prime young cow and heifer beef, 38s to 4 0s; ordinary cow beef, 37s to 395; heavy prime steers, £ls J 7s 6d to £l6 ; lighter £l4 7s Od to £ls 5.5; light prime, £l3 5s to £l4 ss; small and unfinished, £ll 7s Od to £li 17s fid; extra
