A considerable amount oif timber would be required and Hie work would be done as soon as the Highways Board agrees to find its share of the cost. The complaints of the dangerous state of the bridge decking were not justified. To any ordinary driver driving at a reasonable -pace there is not the slightest danger to motor traffic hi crossing at present,
