PEDESTRIAN INJURED.

KNOCKED DOWN BY CYCLEFRACTURED LEG SUSTAINED. Knocked down by a motor cycle near Hip Maeroa Bridge at 7.30 last evening, John Robert Buchanan, aged 38 years, engine-driver,, of Frankton, was* admitted to the Waikato Hospital suffering from a compound dislocation of the left leg. Buchanan was crossing the road when Hie motor cycle, ridden by Mr Joseph Alker, came off- the bridge travelling towards Frankton and collided with him. Inquiries at the hospital to-day showed that the patient's condition is satisfactory.
