SPRING MEETING. GOOD CLASS FIELD ENGAGED. THE ACCEPTANCES. The acceptances for the Spring meeting of the Waikato Trotting Club, which is to be held at Claudclands next Saturday, although 25 less than those received for lasi year's meeting. are of a standard that should ensure a good day's sport. The Mark Memorial Handicap, Hie chief event of Hie day, has drawn a useful Held of a dozen, a similar number as last year. A field of ten will contest Hie Hamilton Handicap, the unliopp'ed trolling event, while in Hie Stewards' Handicap 16 will decide Hie issue compared with thirteen acceptors for last year's fixture.
