SHOOTING
MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB. WEEKLY MEETING. Although the attendance at the weekly meeting of the Hamilton Miniature" Rifle Club was not as large as usual, what was lacking in humbers was made up in enthusiasm. The drill hall range was in good condition, and there was a marked improvement in the scores registered by those who competed in the matches on Saturday night. Following are the results of the competitions, The possible score is 70:— First Match.—l. Page (scr.), 70; Blackie (3), 70. The shoot-off resulted: Blackie (3), 09, 1; Page (scr.), 68, 2. Second Match.—l. Mathieson (8), 70; Murchie (scr.), 70. The shoot-off resulted: Murchie (scr.), 07, 1; Mathieson (8), 00, 2. Third Match. —Murchie (scr.), 70, 1; Page (scr.), 08, 2. A further meeting will be held in the Drill Hall range next Saturday evening, at 7.30, when the competition for the air pistol will be continued.
