FREE STATE AND EMPIRE
BOMBSHELL REPORT DENIED. “ NOT A VESTIGE OF TRUTH.” (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (By Telegraph—Press Association.) (Received August 30, 10.40 a.m.) LONDON, August 29. Hon. C. W. Ci. Marr declares that there is not a vestige of truth in the report that at a meeting of the Empire’s Geneva delegates the Irish Free Stale demanded complete independence of action at the forthcoming assembly. It is stated that no such meeting was held. There was an informal conference of a few Dominion delegates on different subjects, on which Ireland was in complete agreement with the others.
