VANCOUVER, August 28. “ The British Government is ready to hold an economic conference in Canada with the Dominions,” Right lion. J. 11. Thomas, Lord of the Privy Seat, announced to-day in the course of an address to the Canadian Club at Montreal. lie stated he had consulted with members of (lie Canadian Government and had made definite proposals, but added that at first such matters should be discussed in Parliament.
