WELCOME HOME
PARTY AT MATANGI. A “welcome home” party was tendered to Mr and Mrs Joe Wallace at Matangl. Mr Victor Phillip, on behalf of Mr Wallace’s many friends in the district, presented him with a cheque and wished the newly-married guests-of-honour happiness and prosperity. Mr Wallace responded, after which vocal and other items were rendered. Midnight brought a very enjoyable party to an end.
