SHOWER PARTY
AT CAMBRIDGE. The girl friends of Miss Lyn Ilulmo arranged a very enjoyable “shower" party for her at the Oddfellows Hail, Cambridge. The hall was decorated with pastel-shaded streamers. Among those present were: Mrs A. F. Hulme, wearing black georgette; Miss Norma Langton, cyclamen beaded georgette; Miss F. Langton, black lace and taffeta; Miss M. Osmond, apricot lace and georgette; Miss L. Dallirnore, black georgette and posies; Miss E Jackson, black lace, embossed georgette bridge coat; Miss Barnett, black velvet; Miss M. Hart, blue beaded georgette; Miss B. Frost, pink georgette; Miss B. Crowther, blush georgette and silver tissue; Miss J. Hulme, green taffeta; Miss D. Bi*dy, blue georgette with silver trimmings; Miss Davies, cream georgette; Miss L. Hulme, black velvet; Miss D. Ncwcombe, rose pink taffeta; Miss 1. N'ewcombe, pale pink charmcuse; Miss D. Jones, black satin; Miss N. Ilowden, shell pink georgette.
