FALCON ISLAND.
VOLCANIC CHANGES.

SUVA. August 28
The steamer Tofua reports that clouds of steam are issuing from Falcon Island. The long low western end of the island is dissolving, while a long point of land, of an estimated length of four miles, is rising at the eastern end. The new land is almost awash with the surface of the sea.
