BURNED TO DEATH
EXPLOSION OF PETROL. TRAGEDY ON A FARM. SECOND MAN BADLY BURNED. (By Telegraph—Tress Assn. —Copyrlgm.) (Australian Press Association.) (Received August 12, 2.15 p.m.) BRISBANE, Aug. 12. Fatal burns were received at Cairns by Matte Baccaletti, when all his clothes were burnt off following an explosion of petrol on his farm at Babinda. Another Italian, Peter Accitino, was severely burnt, and is now in hospital. He jumped over a bank into the creek. When he scrambled back he found his companion in a frightful condition. Only his leather belt remained on the body.
