Amusement was caused by a member at the monthly meeting of the Southland Motor Association when he was commenting on the fact that “jiggers" on the railways did not work the “wig-wag” signs. “Of course you don’t strike ‘jiggers’ as often as you do •trains,”-he remarked unsmflingly. He wondered why the members laughed.
