BEAUTY HINT.
COLD TEA AS A TOILET AID. When your hands look red and “blotchy" wash them in warm, weak lea. Do not use soap, but work the liquid thoroughly into the pores of the skin by gentle rubbing, and dry on a fairly soft towel. When fruit and vegetables stain your fingers and washing with soap and water fails to remove the discoloration, try washing in cold tea and rinsing in clear warm water. The marks can thus be removed without very hot water, strong soap and loovigorous scrubbing. If the feet become sore and tender through heavy walking, or through wearing new shoes, rub the skin well with a few drops of tepid tea poured into the palm of the hand, paying particular attention to the soles and the toes. Should the eyes become inflamed, instant relief will be obtained by using ar. eyebath full of weak cold tea. llathc them last thing at night, and again in the morning after washing. Not only is this a most effective and harmless remedy, but it strengthens; the eyes.
