CONDITIONS OF LABOUR. A CONCILIATION CASE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.^ CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. The Dominion dispute in the engineering industry affecting the skilled iron and brass moulders, general engineers and boilermakers, but not labourers, came before the Conciliation Council to-day. This is the result of the Arbitration Court’s decision to make one award embracing the whole industry instead of separate awards for the various branches. Twelve assessors were allowed oi each side. Wages were the main item/ in the discussion.
