BEAUTIFUL BOGNOR. WHERE KING IS TO CONVALESCE. Bognor, the beautiful little seaside resort, where His Majesy the King is to convalesce, is a sheltered nook overlooking the English Channel on the Sussex coast, only 6G miles from London. Actually, it is in the Chichester parliamentary division of Sussex, and is tapped by the Brighton-South Coast railway. Bognor has a population of about- 7000, which rises to half as much again in the summer holiday period. There are several convalescent homes in the place, as the result of the recognition by the medical profession of the curative and stimulating virtues of its air- Bognor has the promenade and pier associated with all such south coast watering places, and its proximity to the Metropolis, and the absence of such crowds as frequent Brighton, Bournemouth, and other seaside resorts make it desirable to those who only require rest, quiet, and the clean sea air of the Channel.
