SWEPT OFF THE ROCKS
FISHERMAN DROWNED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, Monday. George Davidson, aged 26, service car driver, whilst fishing at Matakaoa Point, near Hick's Bay, was swept off the rocks h“ u wave, and was drowned, despite the efforts of two companions to save him. He leaves a widow and three young children.
