At the Sydney Stadium last evening, La Barba, Bst 731 b, in his initial fight in Australia, knocked-out Billy McAlister, Bst 3-jlb, in the fourth round. a At the Leichardt Stadium on Friday evening Wally Hancock knocked out Eddie Butcher in the fifth round of a 15-rounds boxing contest. Billy Grime returned to Sydney yesterday from America. SHARKEY BEATS CHRISTNER. NEW YORK, Jan. 26. In a heavy-weight boxing match of 12 rounds at Madison Square Gardens Jack Sharkey, 13st 111 b, was given the decision on points against Kayo Christner, 13st 11 Alb. Sharkey will meet Young Stribling at Miami Beach on February 27, in an elimination bout for the championship.
