DESTRUCTIVE FIRE.
FIRE IN POWER STATION. AREA WITHOUT LIGHT. TE KUITI, Thursday. Due to a transformer breakdown in the trifurcating box at the Ilangatiki electric power sub-station a Are occurred in the station to-day. The Wailomo Power Board’s area is without light and power. Extensive damage has been done to the station equipment. qffie flro burned for 20 minutes and occurred during the milking period, thus inconveniencing dairy farmers.
