BATHERS AND DOGS.

(To the Editor.) Sir,—On visiting the Lake on Sunday I saw, to my dirgust, people bringing dogs to bathe among the bathers. At 7 p.m. there were ten dogs in the water. May I ask the Domain Board whether they made the improvements there for the dogs to wash in or for the people? It is high time some action was taken in the matter.—l am, etc., A LOVER OF CLEANLINESS. Hamilton, Jan. 14. !
