The police and over a hundred civilians combed the scrub around Kentucky, on the Georges River, yesterday until midnight for a two-year-old child, Leslie Fawcett, who mysteriously disappeared from a sulky wljpe he was left asleep. It is not known whether he was carried away by an unknown person or wandered into the bush. It is feared the child may have fallen into the river, which the police dragged for hours, without result.
