DARING ROBBERY.

SAFE-BLOWERS AT WORK. STRONG-ROOM FORCED OPEN. LARGE SUM MISSED. (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.) AUCKLAND, Saturday. There was a daring robbery by expert safe-blowers at the Hydra Bacon Factory, opposite Ponsonby Post Office, last night. The door of a large strongroom was blown off with gelignite and a safe in another part of the office forced open by the same means. From the latter £3O were stolen, but through the strong-room door being wedged the intruders were unable to gain access to a further sum of£Bo.
