The manager of the Railway Department wrote stating the reasons foi ihe chamber’s request to have the late tiain from Frankton to Thames speeded up and that some alteration might be made in the future. In reply to the chamber's request the Railway Department has agreed to provide a light in the centre of the overhead bridge at the Morrinsville station for the convenience of travellers arriving or departing by the late train. Mr G. F. Oates brought up the matter of the piggeries close to the town on the Rotorua railway line.
