TENNIS QUEEN CARNIVAL.

PADDY'S MARKET. AT RUAKURA FARM. A Paddy's Market was held at the Ruakura tennis courts this afternoon, in support of the Ruakura and Power Board tennis queen's candidacy in the present Queen Carnival. There was a very large gathering of friends and players, and a successful day resulted. The stalls were set up under the trees, and did big business. The stallholders were:—Produce stall, Power Board ladies; novelties, Mrs Weatherley, Miss Annett, and Miss Chitty; afternoon tea, Mrs Lyford, Miss Howlett, and Miss Clevely; sweets, Misses Watldnson, Howlett, O'Neill, and Mrs Munro; tennis, Mr Gascoigne and Mr Lyford; ice cream, Misses Wilson and Henderson; .clock golf, Messrs Haszard and B. Hare; side shows, Mr J. Roach.
