PRESENTATION.
tstmtz. TRIBUTE TO MR E. PARKER. FAREWELL FROM STAFF. Evidence Of the popularity achieved by Mr E. ("Teddy") Parker during his twenty years' service with House and Daking, Ltd., was given at a presentation made to him by members of the staff last evening. Mr Parker will leave shortly for Taumarunui, where he will still be indirectly associated with the firm. On behalf of the staff, Mr J. F. Roberts presented Mr Parker with a travelling clock, with leather case. Mr Roberts said Mr Parker had been one whose cheerful disposition and ready comradeship had endeared him to all whom he had met, inside and outside the flnr He would be greatly missed by the staff, and his departure would be regretted in social circles. Mr Parker could rest assured that he carried with him the best wishes of his former colleagues in his new sphere of activities. Mr Roberts handed over a memento of the occasion, a piece of satin ribbon, on which was inscribed the names of the contributors to the presentation. Mr Parker expressed deep gratitude to the staff for its gift, and voiced his regret at severing old connections.
