Maize, 4s 2d to 4s 3d. AUCKLAND PRODUCE. Wheat. —Graded fowl wheat is unchanged, but sales are somewhat restricted by the large amount of ungraded wheat on offer. The latter is not at all bad, but at a reduction of only 2d on graded lines it is doubtful if it is really good value. Oats and Chaff. —Quotations are unchanged at 4s 8d and £9 10s respectively, with only a moderate demand, and no great interest taken in the market by sellers or buyers. Hay.—a fairly good crop is assured, and some farmers have already started cutting. Maize.—A fairly good demand is absorbing the larger supplies to hand, and the price is unchanged at 6s 6d ex store. Growers continue to maintain an independent attitude over further supplies, making it somewhat difficult to meet all the direct trade offering bydirect consignment inland by rail. Potatoes. —Supplies are more plentiful, but the price is fairly steady at £l3 to £l3 10s on trucks at Pukekohe. There is every probability that the price will continue to ease, now that suitable weather is making digging more general. Many growers are carefully grading their samples, thus greatly facilitating. ..sales. . ".- Onions.—Limited" stocks or American are selling quietly at 27s 6d a case, but importations of Australian tend to keep the market weak. New season's Globe onions from Melbourne are selling at 25s per cwt, and the position is weak in these also. Fertilisers.—The mills are making all their preparations for the heavy deliveries at the lower price after the turn of the month. The chief demand is for super, but there is also a fair iuquiry for the various special manures for fodder crops.
