THE WEATHER.
The following barometer and thermometer readings taken from 9 a.m. daily, and weather conditions are kindly supplied by Mr Jas. Bremner:
Barometer 30.0, rising tendency. Indications are for fair weather during the next 48 hours, with light variable winds later from south with colder nights. Saturday and Sunday were unsettled, 0.65 inches of rain fell during the two days. Winds brisk from a westerly direction. Mean temperature 46 degrees.
The Weather Bureau wires for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day the indications are for southerly winds moderate to strong, decreasing later and backing by east to north. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather and the night will be very cold with frosts inland with milder weather to-morrow. Barometer has "a rising tendency.
