AUDACIOUS BURGLARY.
PLATE-GLASS WINDOW SMASHED. £SO IN GOODS TAKEN. (Bv Telegraph — Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Monday. An audacious burglary occurred on the promises of J. C. Oldbury, gunsmith, Rutland Street, in the early hours of Sunday morning. A large plate-glass window was smashed, enabling the thief to steal a new .45 calibre Colt revolver and sporting gear, of a total value of £SO. BURGLARIES AT INVERCARGILL. £SO CASH SECURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) ' INVERCARGILL, Monday. Burglars entered Todd’s auction rooms on Saturday night. They broke open two safes but got little money, the firm having hanked in the afternoon. They also entered the premises of Herbert Grace, clothier, and obtained £SO from the safe and goods to the same value. Bowden’s auction mart was also entered, hut nothing was secured. W
