The shops ai Olaudclands and Hamilton East were isolated naturally and they each served a restricted area. Both Messrs Jordan and Parlanc had said their business would not be greatly affected if the hours of the applicants were increased. The exemptions were granted to Leslie Chandler Cooper, of Claudolands, and Richard Brown, of Hamilton East.
