WINDOW SMASHED.

CAUSED BY FALL OF MODEL A crashing of glass attracted the attention of those within earshot of Lawrence’s Model Rooms on Victoria ; Street this afternoon. Along with • the smashed plateglass there fell on the pavement a female figure. ( At least one passer-by saw a human tragedy in the scene and ran for help. Others gallantly came to the fair one’s assistance. Fortunately the fallen female was a wax figure. Its overbalancing, however, has caused , the firm the loss of a very valuable window.
