“THE HAMILTONIAN.”

HIGH SCHOOL MAGAZINE.

The Hamilton High School Magazine is one of the most up-to-date magazines of its kind in New Zealand, and is a credit to the school, the activities of which it records. 'The school authorities have always been proud of the high standard of their magazine, and this te.rm's issue is equal to anything published previously. The increase in the number of pages allotted to the old pupils of the school is very much appreciated. The Old Boys’ notes bring the past students in close touch with their former school companions. In learning and sport the school has performed very creditably. Gratifying success was achieved by students in their examinations of 1927, when a University Scholarship was won and 36 students gained matriculation or allied examinations. Two Senior National Scholarships and two Junior National Scholarships were won. Seven pupils gained accountancy preliminary, and five the pubh« service entrance.
