An innovation in the form of a weekly shipping service between Newcastle and Western Australia is being commenced by the Mcllwraith, McEacherus, and Adelaide Steamship Company’s vessels, Kooiiga, Kooyong, Mungana, and Momba. It will obviate much transhipping and overcome the existing congestion on this run.
