(By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) NEW YORK, May 26. China has been eliminated from the Davis Cup contest by the United States. The latter won the first two singles and in the doubles W. T. Tilden and W. F. Coen defeated Lum and Kong, 6—2, G-j i, 6 —3. In the match at Montreal between Canada and Japan Toba and Tamio Abe (Japan) defeated Wright and Ham (Canada), 5—7, 2—6, 6—3, o—4, 10 —8, in the doubles.
