The latter won the first two singles and in the doubles W. T. Tilden and W. F. Coen defeated Lum and Kong, 6—2, G-j i, 6 —3. In the match at Montreal between Canada and Japan Toba and Tamio Abe (Japan) defeated Wright and Ham (Canada), 5—7, 2—6, 6—3, o—4, 10 —8, in the doubles.
